Join us for a super fun afternoon of painting and Valentine’s Day cupcakes in a real art studio with painting instructors! This party is for our TF pre-adolescents and their siblings (ages 5-12). Parents are welcome to socialize in the foyer or gather at the nearby coffee shop. Exact address of the venue will be sent to confirmed RSVPs closer to the event.<\/p>\n
Like all TF events, RSVP is required. The art studio has a maximum capacity of approximately 40 youth<\/b>, so please RSVP only if you are committed to attending. Once we reach capacity, we will start a wait list, so please RSVP early<\/strong> and to let us know ASAP<\/strong> if you are unable to attend. That will allow us to give the space we were holding for your family to another TF family.<\/p>\n This is a private event for Transforming Family, so please no friends or unexpected guests. See FAQs below.<\/p>\n Due to the need for an accurate headcount required by the venue, RSVPs will be cut off at Midnight on Sunday, February 8<\/strong>. \nWho needs to RSVP?
\n<\/b>Everyone! DO NOT arrive at the venue without a TF ticket. This ensures the privacy and safety of our families. Complete an RSVP ticket for every child attending the party and for every adult bringing them to the venue – whether they are staying for the party or not. This ensures we know everyone involved and we know who to contact if parents leave the venue during the party.<\/p>\n
\nThere will be an area for parents and caregivers to socialize. You may drop-off but we will collect a phone number and we request you remain in the general vicinity (there\u2019s a local coffee shop and shopping nearby).<\/p>\n
\nYes, for this party only, cisgender siblings can attend.<\/p>\n
\n<\/b>No, we are not providing childcare. For the HEARTS & CRAFTS party your child should be able to participate in an instructor-led class with volunteer assistance. If you bring a child younger than 5 years old, they must be under your supervision during the entire party.<\/p>\n
\n<\/b>No. If your child has a trans friend they’d like to bring, that family must go through the Transforming Family intake process first. They can fill out the intake survey on transformingfamily.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\n<\/b>Yes. TF is happy to host this party, which includes the art class, supplies, and snacks. However, if you’d like to make a contribution to cover the per person fee charged by the venue, we welcome the donation. Your donation helps TF provide the party to those who cannot donate.
